The forest grows out of the ground, and the roots of the trees hold the ground and prevent landslides. The forest is also a complex ecosystem full of predators and their victims, which is being destroyed by the biggest predator on Earth - man himself. Symbolically speaking, the forest also represents our subconscious, everything that is threatened and dangerous
