The Israeli army announced that its troops had been withdrawn to the agreed deployment lines, marking the beginning of a ceasefire reached with Hamas.

Ceasefire in the Belt Gauze officially started at noon local time, when Israeli army announced that it had withdrawn troops to agreed deployment lines as part of a deal with Hamas.

"As of 12:00 p.m., IDF troops have positioned themselves on updated deployment lines, in accordance with the cease-fire plan and the renewal of the hostage agreement," the Israeli military said in a statement, according to the Times of Israel.

According to the statement, IDF troops in the Southern Command have been deployed in the area and will continue to operate to eliminate any imminent threat.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is euphoric, with his hand outstretched

Overview of the week

Vučić, protector of injustice

Aleksandar Vučić is carrying out an unannounced coup d'état. It's for nothing. He has no defense against the demand for justice. Because how can he look into the eyes of a mother who is on hunger strike, calm the people on the streets and silence the schoolchildren who are shouting on the excursion - "Pump!"
