The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said on Wednesday (May 7) that travels to Moscow to mark the Day of Victory over Fascism.
"Myself" stay in Moscow sends a strong message. "Russia is the guarantor of the Dayton Peace Agreement and understands what is happening in the RS, which was best demonstrated at yesterday's session of the United Nations Security Council," said Dodik for Radio-Television of the Republika Srpska (RTRS), reports N1.
He announced that the President of the National Assembly of the RS, Nenad Stevandić, will be in Moscow, as well as the Chairperson of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, who will arrive in the capital of Russia from New York, where she attended the UN Security Council session.
"We will be visible there," said Dodik.
He stated that he received the invitation to attend the Victory over Fascism Day parade from the office of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Imagine that no one from the opposition was invited to the RS. The Russians have old diplomacy and know very well who is who," said Dodik.
He added that he is glad that in Moscow he will have the opportunity to participate in joint meetings where a significant number of world leaders will be present.
