U shooting at the high school in Siverek, in the southeast Turkey, at least 16 people were wounded, including students and teachers.
They were shot by a 19-year-old former student, who then committed suicide, officials said.
The attacker, armed with a shotgun, fired randomly before hiding in a building and killing himself, Governor Hasan Shildak said.
In the attack, 10 students, four teachers, one employee in the school canteen and one policeman were wounded, Šildak said.
The motive of the attack is currently unknown. School shootings are rare in Turkey.
