War between Israel and Iran entered its second week on Friday, with European officials trying to bring Tehran back to the negotiating table after US President Donald tramp said that he would make a decision on military intervention within two weeks.
Government of Serbia announced that it evacuated 19 people on the night between Thursday and Friday (June 20 and 38), and countries from the region began to withdraw diplomats from the war zone.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that during the night between Thursday and Friday, more than 60 fighter jets carried out dozens of strikes on Iran, targeting several locations in Tehran.
Iran's military missile production facilities and a nuclear research center, which the Israeli military says are involved in Iran's nuclear weapons development, were targeted.
In an attack by Iran during the night, the technology park in Beer Sheva in the south of Israel, where the office of Microsoft is located, was hit. Five people were injured and taken to hospital, Israeli emergency services said.
Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs
The foreign ministers of Great Britain, France and Germany will hold talks with their Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi in Geneva on Friday (June 20th) as part of efforts to end the Israeli-Iranian conflict.
"Now is the time to stop the tough scenes in the Middle East and prevent a regional escalation that would benefit no one," said British Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
The meeting comes as the White House announced that Donald Trump will decide within the next two weeks whether the US will join Israel's attacks on Iran.
Trump has delayed making a decision because he believes there is a "significant chance" for talks.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping condemned Israel and agreed that de-escalation was needed, the Kremlin said on Thursday.
Evacuation
The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized the return of Serbian citizens evacuated from Israel, who came to Belgrade on a special Air Serbia flight from Sharm el-Sheikh, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
During the night between Thursday and Friday, 38 people arrived in Belgrade, among them mostly Serbian citizens, as well as a few foreigners.

Several countries have suspended embassies in Tehran since the start of the conflict between Iran and Israel, including the Czech Republic, New Zealand, Switzerland and Australia.
And the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision on the temporary closure of the embassies of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel at an extraordinary session.
Croatia announced that it will carry out the evacuation of its diplomats from Israel and Iran, and confirmed that it is also working on the repatriation of Croatian citizens from conflict-affected areas, reports Anadolia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia announced that it has withdrawn diplomatic personnel from Iran, as well as family members of employees of the embassy in Tehran. The announcement states that all consular services for citizens in Iran have been suspended until further notice.
North Macedonia has also started evacuating its citizens from Israel.
The eighth day of the war
In the Israeli airstrikes in Iran that started on June 13, 639 people have been killed so far, according to the Human Rights Activists organization. Among the dead are top military officials and nuclear scientists. Israel announced that at least twenty Israeli civilians were killed in Iranian missile attacks, reports Reuters. That agency could not independently confirm the number of victims from either side.
Iran said it was targeting military and defense facilities in Israel, although it also hit a hospital and other civilian facilities.
On Thursday, Israel accused Iran of deliberately targeting civilians with the use of cluster munitions, which scatter small bombs over a wide area.
