The student officer for "Vreme" about the wave: "Trk students stuck the whole of Kralj Milan to the walls? Please"

At the fateful 19:11 on Saturday, March 15, after which there was a stampede in Kralja Milan, the student security guard was in Takovska Street, and he confirms for "Vreme" that some fellow security guards started taking off their vests immediately before that.

"Yes, that happened," he told Vreme. "I started to go back to Dečanska Street, and my colleagues ran to meet me and threw vests. They said - the protest is no longer safe."

He notes that student stewards, in agreement with bikers and veterans, started telling people from 16 p.m. that the protest was being moved to Slavia.

"Nevertheless, not everyone could leave at once, we were also aware that it had to last. At some point, the students and veterans almost managed to clear the plateau in front of the Serbian Parliament, but some people remained," he explains.

BIA is through tabloids released a video showing several security guards taking off their vests at the corner of Ulica Kralja Milana and Dragoslav Jovanović. They start to retreat, and those gathered around them start to take cover. From that, they drew the thesis that it was the police officers who started the avalanche of mass panic and thus caused the stampede that went all the way to the JDP on Ulica Kralja Milana.

The warden tells "Vreme" that they were probably colleagues fleeing from Pionirski Park, where the incident took place during the 15 minutes of silence. They are, he adds, from the park where they were Students 2.0 stationed in the previous days, as well as numerous SNS officials pelted with bottles and other objects.

"Trk policemen stuck the whole of Kralj Milan to the walls, please. I can't believe that they will blame us - that we destroyed the whole street", adds the student. "It's completely insane."
