Prime Minister of Serbia Đuro Macut he stated in an interview for the newspaper "Politika" from Sunday that protests an integral part of democratic life and not to be afraid of them, but that it is important to know the boundaries - there must be no violence and universities must not be allowed to become political stages instead of being centers of knowledge.
"The state of education is one of the key issues for us, because the future of the whole society depends on it," said Macut and pointed out that education is not an expense, but the most important investment in the future of Serbia and that the Government will continue to treat it that way.
Speaking about the participation in the Berlin Process Summit in London, Macut said that "Serbia sent a message that it remains committed to the European path, as well as to preserving good neighborly relations and peace in the Western Balkans."
