Patriarch Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Porphyry he said on Monday that "we can have different views on many subjects" and that "it is our responsibility to be truly human, not one-sided, not exclusive."
"Is that something strange?" It is a bouquet, a unique one, in which there are different flowers, herbs of different colors and scents. Each flower individually has its own beauty, but in union with other flowers, in a bouquet, in harmony with others, an incomparably greater beauty is achieved. So, we are one family, we are one family. We are once connected by faith, fathers and forefathers and their faith," said Porphyry.
At the end of the liturgy on the occasion of St. John's Day, he pointed out that "we are one in Christ, one in the Orthodox Church, which has so much beauty and wealth that we can never use up what exists in it", announced the Serbian Orthodox Church.
"It is our responsibility to really be people, not one-sided, not exclusive, not self-confident, not people who have their own mold and anyone who does not fit into that mold is redundant, unnecessary and, God forbid, should be excluded from their of life and eliminate. That's not religion, that's not the Church, that's not the Serbian people," said Porfirije.
He pointed out that "regardless of who we are and what we are and how we are, we are what we are, we are ourselves."
"We are one family, we are one family, we are one nation, above all a nation that is connected by the armor of faith, connected by Christ in one Church," said Porfirius.
