Representatives of the student organization OPINION showed the journalists the decision signed by the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, Ivana Živančević Sekeruš, in which it is stated that a disciplinary report was filed against the thugs who slapped and beat them in the elections for Student Parliament of that faculty was rejected because it was "irregular", since it was not submitted according to the appropriate regulations.
The students announced that they will file an appeal against that decision.
Disciplinary reports were submitted by activists of the STAV group Mila Pajić and Lazar Dinić.
Mila Pajić filed a complaint against the president of the Student Parliament, Ivana Macak, who slapped her with the election for the Student Parliament on May 21 of this year.
Lazar Dinić filed a disciplinary complaint against the member of the election commission Aleksandar M. Gajić, who physically assaulted him in the same place on the same day.
Students from STAV have repeatedly blocked the holding of elections for the Student Parliament, with the request that another list be allowed to participate in those elections, and not only the list of the Union of Students of the Faculty of Philosophy.
It has been confirmed to the media that Ivana Macak and Aleksandar M. Gajić are employed in the Assembly of Vojvodina after the violence they carried out at the Faculty of Philosophy.
In the local elections in Novi Sad on June 2 this year, Ivana Macak was the first on the list of the Russian Party, which did not pass the electoral census.
The elections for the Student Parliament were repeated on Monday, September 23, in the Rector's building, and students from STAV were then attacked by persons dressed in black and with masks on their faces, and on that occasion Mila Pajić, Anja Pitulić and Srđan Đurić were injured.
Student Srđan Đurić announced that he will file a criminal complaint against the director of the Fund for European Affairs of Vojvodina, Ognjena Dopuđa, whom he accused of being the "leader of thugs".
A video of those incidents was published by STAV on social networks, and the attackers also threw an explosive device at the students from that informal group.
The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad launched an investigation into the incident in front of the Rectorate in Novi Sad.
