Israeli the military announced that on the morning of January 3, it intercepted a drone before it entered its territory, and that aircraft was launched from Yemen, from where Houthi rebels have recently carried out several attacks on Israel.
"A drone launched from Yemen was intercepted by the air force before entering the territory of Israel," the army said in a statement.

The Houthis claim they are carrying out attacks in solidarity with the Palestinians.
