The average real GDP per capita in the EU in 2024 was 33.530 euros, with Luxembourg being the absolute record holder with 100.880 euros.
At the same time, the real GDP per capita in Serbia last year was EUR 8.900, which means that the real GDP per capita in Serbia is only 26,6 percent of the average real GDP per capita in the EU for 2024.

How did we overtake Croatia?
For example, in neighboring Croatia the real GDP per capita in 2024 was significantly higher than in Serbia - 16.690 euros, and in Hungary the difference compared to Serbia is significant - 16.190 euros.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, especially likes to point out that Serbia is ahead of Croatia in every respect, which has been a member of the European Union for a long time, and since a few years ago, of the Eurozone and Schengen.
When it comes to the countries created by the breakup of Yugoslavia, the real GDP per capita shows that Slovenia has progressed the farthest, because in 2024, the real GDP in that country was 25.380 euros.
And Bulgaria is better than Serbia.
Even the lowest-ranked EU country of the Western Balkans, Bulgaria, is better than Serbia with 11.300 euros of real GDP per capita in 2024.
Although data for 2024 are not included for Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia, data from previous years show that these are the only countries with a lower real GDP per capita than Serbia.

Real GDP per capita is an economic indicator that measures the average economic output per person in a country, taking inflation into account. The data are all the worse, because inflation in Serbia is among the highest in Europe.
In addition, according to the projections of the Ministry of Finance, the public debt of Serbia will increase by 2,6 billion euros by the end of the year and will amount to a total of 41,9 billion euros.

Students forgot about physics. Especially the Second Law of Thermodynamics which says: if there is a vacuum in the system, particles from the area of higher concentration will spread to fill the space. They forgot that there are no political protests, not even student ones, without political content
The government has several options. The first is to cancel the competition and thus admit that it is unable to carry out a clear procedure for the election of REM Council members twice. The second is to go back a few steps and "clean the list" of the proposers and candidates who do not meet the conditions of the competition and thus try to continue the process. The third is that he chooses his own Council from the candidates who are now in the game, including those who are disputed. I have a feeling he'll choose the latter option. Thus, we will once again have REM and the media, which serve as a propaganda training ground for the power of Aleksandar Vučić and his henchmen
In the announcement of the new media association, we received a list of participants in a huge reality show, in which the Big Boss puts someone in the Elite, someone in the Farm, someone to drag opponents through the mud - but they all have the same goal: Vučić's favor
Among psychoanalysts, a theory about the effect of music that relies on the idea of parallelism of movement has become popular. Namely, music is defined as a regular movement from one tone to the next, and feelings are defined as processes that consume energy, which is why they represent movement in our inner world. Hence, music is understood as an external mirror of our internal processes, as a way to express feelings, see outside ourselves and internalize them, and to experience them together with large groups of people.
Can the students and the opposition make up for 51 votes in the repeated elections at polling station number 25 in Kosjerić? Is it an impossible mission or another attempt that changes everything
The Serbian Government elected the commander of the "White Eagles", Dragoslav Bokan, as the president of the Board of Directors of the National Theater. Why not read "Aco Serbs" instead of "Your hands are bloody"?
What will Vučić do when his second presidential term expires in 2027. The Constitution does not provide for a third. Maybe he won't go into political retirement
