As specified in the announcement, work Vladimir Lojanica, according to the jury's assessment, is distinguished by a balanced approach to program organization and space design, with a clearly defined geometry that respects the directions of Avala Studio, RTS and the area around the Church of Saint Luke.
It is about an area, as opposed to a protected natural area "Košutnjak Forests", with an area of about 85 hectares, according to the DAB announcement.
Analyzing the submitted works, the members of the jury emphasized the importance of the integration of natural elements, the preservation of cultural and natural heritage, as well as the improvement of the quality of life of citizens through sustainable and innovative architectural solutions.
According to the jury's assessment, the works responded to the objectives of the competition to find a sustainable solution that enables the ecological revitalization of the site and its inclusion in the city flows, without occupying new natural areas.
The landscape-architectural approach of Lojanica, it is stated in the conclusion of the jury, respects the natural and aesthetic characteristics of the space, and the work offers solutions above the expected level, representing a good basis for further planning development, with the involvement of all relevant stakeholders.
The jury assessed that 26 works received from the country and the region offered original answers to the given topic and stated that the contest can be considered a complete success.
