Girls and boys

Social networks, in addition to all the good things they can be, are also a gathering place for all sorts of strange worlds with problems in reasoning. We purposely do not say in "opinion" because not every vomit that someone writes on the Internet can meet the criteria to call it an opinion or an opinion.

In the last two weeks, we had two cases that reached the media, caused a lot of public attention, and the actors were very young people. One is the attack on Novi Sad anti-fascist and radio host Daško Milinovilć, who was attacked by two youths while he was going to work, sprayed with tear gas and beaten with a rod. The second is the alleged pimping of minors in hotels in Jagodina, which Dragan Marković Palma is allegedly behind. The reader can be informed about the latter in detail in the latest issue of the printed edition of the weekly "Vreme". At this point, we would like to take a look at the hysteria on social media regarding both cases.

Milinović's attackers are not small, they are 24 and 25 years old. But the "wise heads", especially from Facebook (we should examine how the biggest nastiness is found on that social network, even though nastiness is, in principle, more numerous and more frequent on Twitter), unhindered on the Facebook pages of media houses, under the news about this attack they comment that they are some deluded children, so it is no wonder that this happened considering what that "Draško" says about his country and his people, he simply hurt the little girl's patriotic feelings, so what now, my god, he protected his head when he was knocked down, so they patched up "only" his hand in the emergency room. A few days after the attack, a rally in support of Milinović was held in Novi Sad. At the same time, some male "children" tried to gather at the Quay of the raid victims, but they quickly dispersed. Nevertheless, they managed to lay a wreath on the monument to the victims of the Novi Sad raid, which reads "In memory of the victims of communism". Let us remind you, if anyone does not know - the Novi Sad raid is an operation during which the Hungarian Nazis killed around 1942-3 Jews, Serbs, Roma, Ruthenians and Hungarians in January 4000 by forcing them to march across the frozen Danube. The ice was cracking, and people were drowning.

The Facebook population had to say: well done, youth! It's probably a good thing that they don't know anything, that they are poisoned by nationalism, crypto-Chetism and, as they say, although no one knows what that word means - traditionalism.

A week later, information emerged that "someone" in Jagodina has been pimping underage girls to politicians and businessmen for more than a decade, that the "parties" where this happens look like a cattle market, that there have been rumors about it for 15 years. And what do Internet wise men say? Well, underage girls, unlike 25-year-old bizgos, are suddenly neither children nor youth, but "sluts", "they put on silicones at 14", "twirling their tails", "kids today are dangerous".

Wait a minute, "kids" are dangerous because someone pimps them, and "kids" are harmless when you beat someone with a metal bar. This author, unfortunately, remembers for a long time, so she remembers the attack on her colleague and friend Teofil Pančić, who in 2010 was also hit with a metal bar, only he was hit in the head. One was 18 and the other 19 years old. And it was the same, they were some misguided children, so there was whining and crying, begging that Pančić to have mercy because the children were misled by right-wing organizations, and so on, in the direction: they are small, they don't know what they are doing. In the same year, we had outbursts in the form of asking for mercy for "our children" that destroyed half of the center of Belgrade during the Pride Parade.

Let's agree on one thing: teenagers, it has been scientifically proven, do not think very rationally and are more prone to risky behavior because their brains are still developing. The thing is neurological. But there are no such underdeveloped centers in the brain of a healthy individual that can justify beating, breaking and smashing heads. That this is unacceptable is learned even before kindergarten. Where does this compassion for savages come from, while girls of an even younger age do not receive compassion?

Why are little girls not seduced and manipulated when they are stuffed into cars and brought to be raped by squeamish politicians, while "toddlers" with metal bars are? Why, commenting on the case of Miroslav Aleksić and the fact that he was accused of raping minor girls, do public figures debate on popular television whether someone is a girl until the age of 14, and then, you know, a fully grown woman? In short, because we are not normal. If we did, we wouldn't, as a society, have the need to protect adult male hooligans with bars, while attacking and blaming girls who are sexually abused by someone.
