Ah, the holiday season, everyone then driving home for Christmas, as sung by Chris Rhea, who left just before this Christmas. It must also be Washington, the capital SAD, somewhat relaxed, tucked into the holidays.
Maybe that's why the Serbian ambassador on that difficult terrain, Dragan Sutanovac, has extra time.
His response to one became a hit on Twitter clickbait a math question. Many people wondered if Šutanovac didn't have better things to do, but these are small souls.
Because the Serbian ambassador answered correctly, and I guess that's the most important thing.
You say "eight"?
It's popular now on social media to garner attention by posting math problems that are at the elementary school level and write that it's something that "only geniuses" can solve. That's how the mass gets hooked. So who doesn't want to be a genius once in their life!
So some irrelevant tweeter under a pseudonym asked the question, what is the square root of the expression 16:1/4.
Šutanovac really proved to be a genius and answered: 8.
Local Twitter users reacted first by rhyming something with "eight", but also by wondering what the former minister of defense and former president of the Democratic Party, who now serves in Washington under the Vučić regime, does.
A machinist at heart
It is unfair to this diplomat who graduated from the Sixth Belgrade University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and several security policy courses.
Defending his basic profession, Šutanovac answered correctly and that should be counted among his successes in Washington.
After all, when you see how some other Twitter users from the white world responded, you should be proud of basic education in Serbia.
It should be added that Šutanovac accepted the jokes at his expense in a sporting manner. One Twitter user sent him a new math problem "for geniuses" and asked for help.
6+6+6x6x0=?
As if from a cannon, Šutanovac said 12.
Right again. Maybe it's the start of a new career one day.
