After 10 years, Beograd is once again the host of the best European water polo representation.
U Belgrade Arena, on Saturday, January 10, the 37th European Championship for water polo players begins.
Belgrade is thus organizing this competition for the third time in its history. The previous two were held in 2006 and 2016.
At the previous two championships in Belgrade, the title was won by the Serbian national team.
Dolphins are also among the candidates for gold this year, and in addition to the Serbian national team, 15 other European teams are competing.
In the pool there will also be representatives of France, Hungary, Malta, Montenegro, Slovenia, Greece, Croatia, Georgia, Spain, which is defending the title, the Netherlands, Israel, Turkey, Romania, Slovakia and Italy.
