With the aim of ensuring more stable blood reserves during the summer months, in the period of June, July and August, voluntary donation actions will be organized in numerous cities throughout Serbia, and the well-known transfusion vehicles of the Institute for Blood Transfusion of Serbia and the Institute for Blood Transfusion of Vojvodina will traditionally be located in the parking lots in front of Lidl stores.
Knowing that a stable supply of the health system requires at least 40 voluntary blood donors per 1.000 inhabitants per year, Lidl Serbia wants to encourage solidarity in the community and provide citizens with an easy and accessible way for this humane gesture. Setting up mobile transfusion centers allows consumers to do a good deed along with their daily shopping, providing help to those who need it most.
Lidl Serbia invites all citizens between the ages of 18 and 65 to join the action and donate blood in mobile centers - transfusion mobiles, which will be set up during the next period according to the following schedule:

The Lidl company has prepared refreshments for the Red Cross Volunteers and expert teams from the transfusion services, as a small sign of attention during the campaign.
The mentioned initiative is part of the broader cooperation between Lidl and the Serbian Red Cross, which is continuously developing through various socially responsible activities, for the seventh year in a row. With this year's donation to the Red Cross, in the amount of 1.500.000 dinars, the company has additionally strengthened the system of voluntary blood donation in the country, providing strong support to the volunteers of "25 Clubs". In addition, Lidl also participated in actions to mark the National Day of Voluntary Blood Donors and Red Cross Week, and at the end of last year, it successfully implemented the "Small Deeds - Big Magic" campaign, within which, with the support of consumers, 6.300.000 dinars were collected for the beneficiaries of the Serbian Red Cross soup kitchens.
