As "Vreme" finds out, in theaters today and Tuesday intensively discussed the general strike. The artistic ensembles in Belgrade have already decided whether they are for or against the work stoppage, and their colleagues from other cities are expected to do so by Thursday.
At today's meeting in the Association of Dramatic Actors of Serbia, there were representatives of all Belgrade theaters and most of the ensembles were in favor of suspending work.
At the same time, the best of the possible legal forms in which the suspension of work would be carried out is being sought.
The actors unofficially comment that apparently the students have "infected" them with their plenums, so now they are talking calmly, without raising their voice and nervousness, respecting everyone's attitude and opinion. They say that they have the impression that the decision will be made on the basis of a thorough discussion, and this gives them the certainty that it will be - the right one. They are satisfied that these talks have crystallized a lot.
They expect that the decision on the strike will probably be known on Thursday, if life circumstances do not accelerate them.
