The Tivat Culture Center is a guest at the Belgrade National Theater with "Mirandolina" directed by Tatjana Mandić Rigonat and "The Bald Singer", the last performance by Jagoš Marković
The Tivat Culture Center will be a guest on February 23 at the National Theater in Belgrade on the "Raša Plaović" Stage with a play by Ežen Ionesko Bald singer u directed by Jagoš Marković, and a day later with a Renaissance comedy Mirandolina, which will also be the Belgrade premiere of that play directed by Tatjana Mandić Rigonat.
Tivat and Belgrade
Molina Fotez Udovički, the artistic director of the Drama of the National Theater tells the "Vremena" portal that the National Theater and the Tivat Culture Center "have a long-standing successful cooperation, which has intensified since the summer of 2023, when the Culture Center made a real theatrical feat and brought to its summer stage the cult performance of the National Theater Big drama which the audience in Montenegro wanted to see years before."
He states that last summer the National Theater visited Tivat with performances Hilarious tragedy i Macbeth both directed by Jagoš Marković, director of the National Theatre.

Molina Fotez Udovicki says that "Goldoni's Mirandolina adapted and directed by Tatjana Mandić Rigonat, the permanent director of the National Theatre, the latest production of the Tivat Culture Center and, I believe, a show that will conquer the Belgrade audience with its charm. In both performances, actors who are permanent members of our ensemble or long-term collaborators of the National Theater and who are loved by our audience play.
"Part of our repertoire policy is to present to the Belgrade audience the achievements of our actors, writers and directors from the theaters of the country and the region," he says and points out that "talks are underway about a joint performance of the National Theater and the Tivat Cultural Center."
"Mirandolina"
Goldoni's Mirandolina is one of the most famous female characters in the history of the theater, and this latest contemporary reading of that classic play from the middle of the 18th century is a kind of theatrical ode to the freedom, independence and self-awareness of a woman who fights for her equal "place under the sun".
The director Tatjana Mandić Rigonat, who signed both the dramatic and linguistic adaptation of the text, as well as the choice of music, received the "Jagoš Marković" Award and thereby became the first laureate of this award established this summer at the "Purgatory" Festival in Tivat.
The play features Katarina Marković, Vučić Perović, Lazar Dragojević, Goran Vujović, Goran Slavić, Lara Dragović and Julija Milačić Petrović Njegoš.
"Bald Singer"
Ežen Ionesko's play "The Bald Singer" is the last one directed by Jagoš Marković.
Olga Odanović, Branko Vidaković, Dubravka Drakić, Momčilo Otašević, Sandra Bugarski and Branimir Popović play in the latest version of that famous work, which Marković adapted and selected the music for.
The play won several important awards at various festivals in the region, of which the award for the best director, which went posthumously to Jagoš Marković (50th Days of Comedy in Jagodina), the award for the best play (the 5th "Teatar na raskršću" Festival), the Grand Prix for the best female and male roles to Olga Odanović and Branko Vidaković (the 19th "International Actor's Festival - Nikšić 2023"), as well as the "Milivoje" statuette Živanović" for the best actor at the 28th "Milivoj Živanović Days" in Požarevac, which went to Olga Odanović.
