The Assembly of the City of Belgrade appointed board members for the seven main festivals in the city. Dušan Kovačević heads the Fest Board
The Assembly of the City of Belgrade appointed new board members for Fest, Bitef, Bemus, March Festival, Belef, Belgrade Jazz Festival and Sopot Film Festival.
Party
Nataša Mihailović Vacić, city secretary for culture, was relieved of her duties as the president of Obora Fest, at her personal request - as stated. In her place, Dušan Kovačević was appointed.
Let us remind you that Dušan Kovačević is the chairman of the Board of the International Belgrade Book Fair, he is also the chairman of the Palić European Film Festival Council, as well as a regular member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Department of Languages and Literature. He wrote 21 plays and 15 film and television scripts, directed numerous plays and films, and his plays were performed in 150 theaters in the country and abroad. For a time he was the ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro in Portugal, and in 1998 he became the director of the Zvezdara Theater in Belgrade.
Other members of the Fest Board are; from the old convocation, Miloš Đukelić and Ivica Vidanović, and recently elected members Kristina Milinčić, director of the Sava Center, and Darja Bajić, producer.
Bitef
All members of the Board have been replaced. The president is actor and producer Svetozar Cvetković, "Politika" journalist Borka Golubović, Ana Veljković from the Secretariat for Culture, Srđan Obrenović, operations director at the Belgrade Drama Theater, and Đorđe Kosić, playwright.
Bemus
Olja Jacobs, a musical artist, was elected president of the Bemus Board, and Milan Lazović and Jovan Kolundžija were elected as members. Jelena Mihajlović and Milena Nikolić.
Belef
Dragiša Ćurguz was appointed as the president of the board of this festival, while for the next two years the members will be: Milena Nikolić, Aleksandar Dunić, Stefan Radonjić and Aleksandar Srebrić.
Jazz Festival
Due to the expiration of the mandate of the previous Board, new members were elected: Dejan Ilijić, musician and frontman of the band Eyot, Ana Ilić, Milica Ševarlić and Iva Luneski, while musician, composer and arranger Jovan Maljoković was appointed president.
March Festival
Instead of Nikola Nikodijević of the President of the City Assembly, the new President of the Committee is Nikola Rajičić, Undersecretary of the City Secretariat for Sports and Youth, while the other members from the previous convocation are: Dragomir Zupanc, Nenad Popović, Milena Nikolić, Boris Jovanović and Dejan Dabić.
Sopot Film Festival
Živorad Milosavljević became the president, and the members were Ivona Jevtić, Darko Kamarit, Dragan Marinković and Marija Marić Marković.
Everyone's term is two years.
