For the first time in the history of Serbian theaters, a decision was made to strike. It will last seven days, starting on Monday
Ensembles of all Belgrade theaters, as well as ensembles from Novi Sad, Sombor and Zrenjanin, decided to go on a seven-day strike starting February 10.
In the history of Serbian theaters, such a decision has never been made.
"The theater is alive only when it is part of the community, that's why we are leaving the stage and joining those who are looking for change," the theater ensembles announced.
The list includes the National Theater in Belgrade, the Atelje 212 Theater, the Belgrade Drama Theater, the "Boško Buha" Theater, the "Duško Radović" Small Theater, the Terazije Theater and the Yugoslav Drama Theater.

"We express our full solidarity with the students and unconditionally support all their demands," said a statement sent to FoNet, and many actors posted it on social media.
It is also added that the actors provide absolute support to all citizens who believe that our country can be a happier and fairer place.
