The results of six have been published. competition for contemporary creativity announced this year by the City of Novi Sad, and most of them eleven from the Provincial Secretariat for Culture.
Even without a detailed review of those results, it is clear that everything is the same as last year: both the Province and the City of Novi Sad chose to use the budget to support cultural projects that are of narrow local importance and for one-time use, rather than those that are of general interest and that are eternal.
There are also mandatory favourites, the same as in previous years.
Jung and Ristovski
That's the Belgrade Game Festival Aye Jung again received 2,250.000 dinars out of 5,150.000 dinars, which was the total budget of Novi Sad for projects in the field of theater art and artistic dance, and the others from that category were usually given one hundred to two hundred thousand dinars each.

Aja Jung The Provincial Secretariat for Culture allocated 10 million of the 35,000.000 million dinars intended for the film for "Zillion Film". Lazar Ristovski. He divided the rest into 17 projects.
The competition committee awarded the Ravno selo festival, one of the three "Zillion Film" projects, six million dinars, while it estimated that the Palić festival, which is among the best in Europe, deserves only four million dinars.
There is no Tišma and Paja Jovanović
Probably according to the same criteria, the committee that decided on the projects of literary creativity assessed that not a single title of "Academic Books" deserves help from the state budget, and not even the other part Memoirs of the painter Paja Jovanović, Lexicon of Andrić's Sarajevo, nor Aleksandar Tišma, Correspondence (Volume I) Letters to Sonja.
Among those who, in the commission's opinion, deserve state aid, there are noticeable agencies, independent shops, associations, and not publishers. It is also noticeable that the committee evaluated books that deal with topics that have been covered countless times. So, for example, the publishing company for internal and external trade (what exactly does it do?) Pravoslavna reč DOO Novi Sad received 1,600.000 dinars for a book by Goran Maksimović The literary world of Bora Stanković, and 1,800.000 dinars for the book by Prof. Dr. Zorica Nestorović Jovan Steria Popović.
So, as was said at the beginning of the text: both Vojvodina and Novi Sad steadfastly persist in their traditional criteria.
