At the last performance of the play Šabac Theatre "Larry Thompson Tragedy of a Youth" by Dušan Kovačević directed by Stevan Bodroža, there were only four spectators in the audience. That, they say in the theater, has never happened.
The reason is not the quality of the play, which one would think at first. The Šabac Theater does not announce or advertise its performances, because she is the director Aleksandra Delic canceled marketing this February and since then visits to the theater have visibly decreased. The audience is informed about the performances and the current repertoire through private social networks.
The Šabac Theater has a Board of Directors and an Artistic Council, just as the law stipulates, and yet the program and work of the collective is decided exclusively by Aleksandra Delić. She decides on the systematization of jobs, she fires people, cancels and puts on shows.

In this regard, there are more examples like the one mentioned about marketing.
Last month, she canceled dress rehearsals and the premiere of the play "The Lady's Mother Has Passed Away" directed by David Alić, without explanation and, the actors say, for no reason.
Director Aleksandra Delić has been scheduling performances of private productions by Saša Pantić such as "Pepa Prase", "Meda Paddington", "Stitch in the Theater Adventure" for three months now.
For Victory Day, there was a performance in which MP Lepomir Ivković played one of the roles.
In June, performances were announced in which Branislav Lečić plays "Crvena" and "Oleana". At the same time, she canceled the play "Oleana" produced by the Šabac Theater by ending her collaboration with the actress from the play, Nađo Ristić.
The principal is belittling us.
The union "Nezavisnost" of this theater says that "the Arts Council, which exists for this reason, was not consulted for any of these repertory decisions. Instead, the director tried to return to the repertoire two plays that were removed from the repertoire by the Arts Council. We believe that with her actions, the director continues to disparage theater art and the work of our company."
For the third month already, since the day she was appointed to the position of director at the beginning of April. Most theaters are asking the Šabac City Assembly to replace her. They believe that the way in which Aleksandra Delić leads this collective is a form of struggle against the Šabac Theatre, and that the city government's inaction is enabling the collapse of one of the oldest theaters in Serbia.
