In 2025, there are at least 36 feature films in one stage of production and that's what filmmakers are hoping for. The country is only talking about the first national film festival, which will be a counterpart to Pula
This is one of those texts that got out of control, which instead of the Serbian cinematography in 2025, as it was intended, will tell, apart from that, about something else, but possibly more important. This is how it was.
First, it turns out that there is not a single place where it is possible to find out what cinematography is planning for this year. Institutions that have this type of research in their job description don't know about it.
Individuals do this, on their own initiative, because they are interested in it. And they are very happy to share the results with others.
At least 36
The source for writing the text that follows is Đorđe Bajić, film critic of "Vremena", author of a series of novels about Inspector Liman, a man who knows everything about film. He compiled a list of feature films that are currently being filmed, which have already been filmed, and which are in some stage of post-production, so maybe they will have their premiere this year.
Đorđe Bajić's list imposed the second theme mentioned above: that cinematography enters the year 2025 with an enviable amount of endurance, despite the conditions. This truth also means that in our country films are shot for an unnecessarily long time, for years, also due to conditions (Slobodan Šijan, for example, started shooting the film Be God with us three years ago and only now the prime minister is expected), but let's not be gloomy at the beginning of the year.
So: according to Bajić's list, there are currently 36 films in one stage or another in Serbia, and he says that there are certainly more.
One would think that this does not happen in Serbia, where the budget for culture has been reduced, and whose Film Center decided to divide the budget for new projects, unlike in previous years, into a small number of films so that each of them would still receive some amount with which he can do something.
NAFFIT
Speaking of the Film Center of Serbia, let's just say that the first one will be held this year NAFFIT, National Film and Television Festival, a counterpart to the old, Croatian one in Pula. And that's the only thing that the Ministry of Culture and FCS emphasize when they talk about this year, and what they are proud of. It will be a festival of our national identity.

It will be held in September, in Zlatibor, its creator is the director Predrag Gaga Antonijević (although it was first publicly mentioned by FCS director Ivan Karl) and as announced by the Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković, NAFFIT will be the place for premiere screenings, and the selection for the Serbian candidate for the Oscar award.
And now the list of films currently being made in Serbia:

At the last meeting of the Fest Board, Miroslav Mogorović, adviser for the program concept, and Ivan Aranđelović, associate in program selection, were elected. The only thing missing is for the City Assembly to decide who will be the producer, so that the concrete implementation of this year's Fest can begin
Regardless of whether tonight will be the end of this year's or the entire EXIT festival, its closing will be remembered for the shouts of "pump" from tens of thousands of people at the Petrovaradin fortress
At this year's Pula Festival, the "Fabijan Šovagović" award was awarded to the legendary actor Bogdan Diklić, Konstraka's concert was an attraction, and there were a dozen Croatian-Serbian co-productions on various programs.
The reaction of Europe Nostra and its organization in Serbia, regarding the document published by "Vreme", according to which the director of the City Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of Belgrade contributed to the decision to demolish the General Staff. We present a chronology of the previous refusals of the Serbian authorities to save the General Staff
Employees of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of the City of Belgrade learned from "Vremen" that their director, Aleksandar Ivanović, sent an illegal document to the Ministry of Culture proposing to revoke the status of a cultural monument of the General Staff complex. Now they distance themselves from that document
Protests in Serbia no longer impose questions of "whether" and "if", they have become systemic events. Tolerance in society has turned into an insatiable need for normality, for the rule of law
Aleksandar Vučić is no longer able to restore balance in the rebellious society. This is best seen in the level of speech: none of his remarks go through anymore
If we are neutral while students are being imprisoned, girls and boys are being beaten for God's justice, democracy is being suppressed, dissenters are being dehumanized, corruption is continuing that kills and many other evil things are being done - then nothing
