Donald tramp i Aleksandar Vučić they share a lot: they hate journalists, students and the judiciary, they love real estate and the rich. Both of them are talking about something, a Viktor Orban is a close friend of both.
Why, then, of all the countries in the Balkans, does Trump treat Serbia the worst?
Florida alligator
To the President of Serbia and the whole Chacilenda it's sad that there is no response to his letters and postcards from the White House. That's why he risked being eaten by an alligator in Florida only to parachute into a Republican party and intercept Trump in the hallway. He also tried to bribe Trump by giving away the General Staff complex to his son-in-law, similar to handing out piggy banks to the "hosts" in separate local elections.
But - in vain. Kushner returned the gift. How to keep it? His father-in-law is about to sign the Law on Democracy and Prosperity of the Western Balkans. There, only Serbia was decisively mentioned as a country where "the state of democracy is worrisome" and "threatens the safety of important segments of Serbian society."
That's not all. The same law provides for sanctions for "a person who is involved or has attempted to be involved in corruption related to the Western Balkans". The same applies to the corrupt actions of a Western Balkan government or someone who worked on its behalf, as well as "current and former officials". Although Serbia is not listed here, it is clear that its regime is at the top of the list of suspects.
Although Trump looks like an oxymoron in the fight against corruption, it turns out that Vučić received a fierce slap from Washington. It instructed "capital" investors to avoid the wine cellar and large businesses of the President of Serbia in Belgrade. Because how to do business with the authorities of a country where "the state of democracy is worrisome" without "getting involved" in corruption? That's where Kushner's son-in-law got away at the last minute.
The Great Matchbox
It is easy to imagine how Vučić's voice echoes through Bokeljka in the dead of night: "Oh Trump, what have I hidden from you, why can't you think of me even in a drawing!"
If this cry were to reach the Oval Office in the White House, the response would most likely be to Social Truth read - "Because you are a matchmaker."
Thanks to Vučiva's versatility, Serbia is the loneliest country in Europe. No one believes her. The Čaliland regional policy of the "Serbian world" and growling at its neighbors also contributes to this.
That's how you get to Trump. He doesn't give a damn about the state of democracy in Serbia, nor is he interested in it. But it will be that he is annoyed by Vučić's policy of "bragging". In other words, everybody's friend is nobody's friend.
Trump's ego does not allow him to be another one of Vučić's matchmaking false brothers. Especially when Zetčina humiliates him too by the fact that he is unable to employ the General Staff without the stench of rancid corruption reaching the other side of the Atlantic.
