There are two ways to understand Vučić's speech (if it can even be called a speech) in Sremska Mitrovica. 1. Terrifying, if we read from his words and his attitude that the government will defend at all costs, that is, by launching the police, army and thugs against the citizens of Serbia. 2. Hilarious, if we understand it as rambling that moves between fear and disorientation.
We will not analyze the first way: whether he will try to launch the police and the army against the citizens of Serbia depends on the assessment of whether the police and the army will listen to him. However, he will only get an answer to that unknown if he orders the police and the army to target the citizens of Serbia. That's why we understand this disorderly performance as a mix of gossip, lies and chest-beating. We are used to that.
However, there are a few refreshing details.
Mile and the hidden number
The first refers to his communication with Milorad Dodik. Mile has a habit, Nenadležni explained to us (and we often hear from him, especially in the last three months), to call out of the blue, from time to time, casually so to speak, but as Mile likes to hide his mobile number, sometimes Dodik's name does not appear on Vučić's phone.
But since the Incompetent likes to hear from Miletus (who wouldn't like that anyway?), he answered anyway. And so, the phone rings while Nenaležni is not in a meeting, an unknown number, but he knows it's Mile, so he leaves the meeting and answers, and they sweetly say goodbye. Other hidden numbers are not answered. He just answers Milet's hidden number.
Excuse me. How? It answers Milet's hidden number, but does not answer other hidden numbers. Check, check, Incompetent, take it easy. If all the numbers are hidden, how does the Incompetent know which hidden number is Milet's? Well... he doesn't really know, because he can't know. But how does it appear? Oh, no answer. The character is lying.
Teachers, teachers, professors - a dishonest strain
All the time, Nenadležni talked about those who organize a colored revolution (but what is a colored revolution?) and who invested a lot of money in overthrowing the regime, him personally and his family (which, poor thing, turned into a shadow), but he could not reveal to us who he was talking about and who is giving the students huge money to walk hundreds of kilometers, as well as all those people all over Serbia who, well, make feasts for the students along the way, and not, like him, for example, modest ones sandwiches and distributes some church food and buses for his supporters from Bosnia, and whoever he meets on the way around Serbia, he meets him.
Chatter, then.
Well, but when he breaks the colored revolution (okay, but what is the colored revolution?) - in fact, he says, he has already broken it - when, therefore, Serbia returns to the sewer pipe from which it emerged, then, he says, he will immediately increase the salaries of all honest Serbs, policemen, soldiers, workers, doctors.
Nice. So, there is no doubt that the huge number of policemen, soldiers, workers and doctors is an honest world, and that they deserve higher salaries, but how can the Incompetent not remember his mother, teachers, teachers and professors? It will be that they are not a fair world? Those who organize colored revolutions must have filled the teachers' pockets with money, so now they - teachers - since they no longer have to worry about how they will survive the golden age, turned everything on the incompetent family of the Incompetent with the aim of giving him... to give him what?
Could it be that he prefers policemen and soldiers to teachers who taught those same policemen, soldiers, workers and doctors to be free people, and not reptiles who will curl up in front of the Incompetent?
Terminator and airplanes
And when he, ladies and gentlemen, the Incompetent himself, the Terminator, writes the textbook on how he crushed the color revolution (by Vidovdan, was it?), he will destroy them all over the world. Who will he destroy? Well, them. What is not clear? And his textbook will become the most widely read bestseller in the world. And in China, of course. (Is this how a collected person speaks?)
But the icing on the cake was the way he thanked his beloved people, especially those who spontaneously came to Sremska Mitrovica to support him and the whole of Vojvodina. And they could, said Nenadležni, sit nicely on airplanes and fly to the whole world, but no, they stayed because of him, to hate each other and, I guess, enjoy his composed and brilliant speech.
Let's dwell just a little longer on the way in which the Incompetent thanked his beloved people. He is grateful to the people that he did not set fire to the planes somewhere already. Good. Once again: is anyone in their right mind capable of saying such a sentence in front of people they buy cheap sandwiches?
Well, a huge number of those unfortunate people saw the plane high in the sky, or on television, but they hardly ever got close to the airport, let alone flew in a plane.
In order to further humiliate these most deeply humiliated people, one really needs to be purposefully nasty, or the Incompetent has really begun to progressively lose his mind. Er… they could get on planes and get lost. But they didn't.
The incompetent appears as if he is no longer able to distinguish between reality and his sick hallucinations. (Or maybe he's just getting used to his lovely environment where private jets are kind of like taxis, for example. Although the people he's talking to don't have money for a taxi, let alone a plane,)
And now seriously
And so far it has been serious. Too serious actually. How could it not be serious when all this was said by the man with the greatest factual power in this country. The character is lying, we've known that for a long time. But his lies and his selling of the fog were structured in such a way that it was clear that he was lying: a liar, after all, knows the difference between reality and lies. That is why he is a liar. That is why it is considered reasonable. But we are no longer sure that he makes that distinction.
No one, in fact, can constantly lie and maintain a balance between reality and lies. Over time, the lie takes precedence, and reality becomes just a distant noise that does not bind him in any way. A lie ceases to be a lie and becomes equal to reality.
The incompetent no longer gives the impression of mastering the difference between reality and the lies he tells. Otherwise, would he dare to say that since November 3rd, from the moment they started to destroy the town house in Novi Sad (and who are they?), he is no longer the same man? Hey bro?! He is no longer the same man from that moment, and not from the moment when, two days before he experienced a dramatic turn of events, the canopy of the railway station in Novi Sad crushed fifteen people? That didn't shake him, did it? But when he saw them demolishing the townhouse everything in his life became different?
He has no Incompetent scruples, we know that, civilization has not touched him (we know that too), he is able to say anything if he deems it to his advantage, he is not a very stable person either, but this has now become symptomatic because it points to mental incontinence.
New government without elections
If we could muster the strength and try to read some political message in his disorganized advertising, it would be the announcement of the formation of a new government, based on the parliamentary majority. That government would have at least half of new people. Half, therefore, would be old members.
Of course, the citizens will ask him who he is to decide on that, but he will not pay attention to stupid questions. Such a government will hardly impress anyone, probably not even his friends from America, Russia, Europe, China and the whole world (in which he will destroy someone, let's remember).
The incompetent, to divert attention, is procrastinating, not scheduling the parliamentary session where the fall of the government will be noted from when the legal deadline of one month for the formation of a new government begins. He believes that they will exhaust the citizens of Serbia, who no longer think of returning to the sewer pipe that he intended for them, and he especially hopes that these wonderful young people will surrender.
But even if he forms a new party government, it is very difficult to imagine that it will all work. It depends primarily on us.
