There is no dispute that the Belgrade meeting between China and the leaders of 16 Eastern and Central European countries is the news of the day and in a wider context than the countries that are directly engaged in possible agreements regarding, mainly, infrastructural affairs.
Now it's Serbia's turn. Let the Czech Republic get ready, before that the hosts were Bucharest and Budapest, but no one went crazy like ours. Now it's not enough for them to be the leaders in the region, but somehow they would also be wider. The message of the propaganda is simple: when Vučić was in Germany, the headlines in "Informer" were in the host language, when Putin was coming, they were in Russian, these Chinese are kind of awkward for a headline, but we'll manage somehow.
The point is the following: whoever comes across us or forces himself on us is our best friend.
Propaganda of hope, I have written several times, is greater if there is greater hopelessness in society. I am afraid that the means to achieve political goals are poorly chosen here. One of those means is comparing Vučić's successes as a statesman with Tito's failures.
As it started, there will be a song first, and at the end a landing. The choreography will be done by Zorana Mihajlović, the baton will be carried by Aleksandar Vulin, and Nebojša Stefanović will check that no one was absent from the public manifestation of the leader's birthday.
When they have already taken Tito in their mouths, I feel an irresistible need to remind them of two conditionally speaking economic anecdotes.
When the World Bank assembly was held in Belgrade in the 1970s, the all-powerful Robert McNamara, the president of the World Bank, asked the even more powerful Richard Nixon, the president of the USA, whether it made sense to remind Tito to pay back at least some of the debts of Yugoslavia at the time, and the president told him: "No way." , Tito is very nervous when someone mentions money to him."
In the memoirs of David Rockefeller (published and foreword written by Goran Perčević, the one who is now in prison on suspicion of being prone to financial malfeasance), the heir to the first American billion talks about Tito's power in the big world politics in the words, paraphrasing, that the late marshal was the largest shareholder of the United Nations, he always had at least 126 votes.
It doesn't look like Vučić to me, but it looks like his, so it looks like him, and this habit of comparing him to Tito speaks only of a propaganda matrix that is depressingly funny and seems unconvincing, unless they get him a white marshal's uniform that would give him , by the way, stood like a tit chicken.
Nebojsa Katić, economic analyst from London, he writes on his blog:
"Insisting on a development model based on foreign investment is a key mechanism of modern colonization." And the most devastating of all - today countries that were never colonies, that have a long tradition of independence and that were able to function independently as independent states are being colonized.
This state can be maintained (without leading to rebellion) only by continuous brainwashing, mantric repetition of the same phrases, creating zombie generations that are not able to think, nor to analyze the world around them critically, with open eyes. This is precisely the meaning of the continuous promotion of liberal ideas - you cannot escape from a closed space and a closed mind."
So much for the Belgrade summit.
