Aleksandar Vucic breaks its own impressive records in the usurpation of media space. It is inserted into the studies of all possible televisions with one goal: to discredit the students and their protests.
They are led by Ustaše and Kurti, and they are foreign mercenaries, and there are a handful of poor people, and the protests have dried up... It all started to sound a bit panicky.
And for each of his lies, the protests became more massive. Just like any threat and physical attacks. It was the same with by blocking the Mostar interchange.
With every act, the students who are blocking the faculties and protesting in the cities of Serbia are destroying the personality cult of Aleksandar Vučić, mocking his authority, making a mockery of his boasting, telling him: fire brother, who is asking you!
Will the adults also turn their backs?
This is how they break fear in society. Some parent, some grandmother or some grandfather, neighbors who only mind their own business, will ask themselves at some point: what am I afraid of, when these children openly mock him and don't give him two percent. Or: who do we admire and trust? Finally: why do these children rebel, what do they defy, what do they not put up with?
Perhaps some civil servants who keep their heads down in front of all the inaction of the government, bribery, blackmail, and the appointment of unprofessional party personnel will feel shame in front of these young people who are protesting against injustice and will raise their voice - police officers, inspectors, prosecutors, judges...
Perhaps the university professors and teachers of secondary and elementary schools will get together and decide that their support for students is not limited to morals, that they do not push students to the front and turn their backs on changes by entering into a general strike with the student's demand: a functional rule of law.
Perhaps the Bar Associations of Serbia and Vojvodina will do the same.
According to the regime, this is where the greatest danger of student protests lies: freeing society from fear and apathy, spreading hope for changes and a desire for action.
Will the adults also turn their backs?
There is a long way to change. But, despite all the threats of Dačić and Vučević and Vučić that the highways must not be blocked, because they will... what? To arrest a bunch of students? Well, next time there would be twice as many. These new children of Serbia simply refuse to be afraid of them, and do not respect them with every right.
And on Saturday, they go a little bit to the BIA, which makes some adults' legs go numb, because under the firm command of Vučić, she was released from the chain to deal with those who find him funny, or pitiful, or who consider him responsible for numerous criminal acts.
Blocking the Mostar loop was a demonstrative exercise for the students: after Slavia, we can do this too, so imagine what else we could do and what else we will do. There is no concession, and let the regime's charioteers see what they will do, because the student protests are a lie.
