They marked the end of another in a series of progressive years that we left behind students of Serbia.
Simply put: they rose up against abnormality that surrounds them and in one part of society awakened an almost euphoric belief that changes are really possible.
The students blocking the colleges are essentially asking for only one thing: a functioning rule of law. And this is a request that will not be granted without the existential resistance of the other part of society, because for the president of Serbia and all those like him, the independent work of the police, prosecutor's office and courts would mean not only the removal from power, but for many people a view of the world through bars. .
The progressive squads in charge of preserving the established abnormality will feverishly guard their won privileges while the purchased audience applauds their shrill remarks about "Croatian and Ukrainian" elements brought into the country to overthrow Aleksandar Vučić.
The spirit of rebellion
The students undoubtedly ignited the spirit of rebellion. The essential ones. Not against the individual inactions of the government - the demolition of the Old Sava Bridge, the cutting of some trees, the mining of lithium or the inappropriately small incomes of individual castes - but against the general abnormality, lawlessness and corruption in society and the state.
Colleague Ivan Milenković would say that they want to liberate the republic from the pack that occupied it and that never stops howling at the moon.
This autochthonous student resistance in a short time relieved many of the fears of the consequences of disagreement, encouraged them to say and show what they think.
Certainly, the Greatest Serb Ever is annoyed by student and high school "pali brate" because no matter how much "Večernje novosti" writes about "Vučić's powerful speech at the forum 'The Future, not the Past'", it seems to an increasing number of people exactly like the past, and a funny one at that. , because it is as absurd as any repetition of history.
It is as if towards the end of 2024, people have seen.
It's getting on Vučić's nerves. fashionable disobedience, and that wildly, just like the noise against him, blocked universities, high schools, teachers, professors, deans, actions 15 minutes for 15 victims, farmers' protest, warning strikes of the Bar Association of Serbia and Vojvodina, resistance in the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments, athletes who suddenly support students, Zeljko Obradovic...
But is all that enough to replace the abnormal government with a normal one? Or existing abnormalities?
Party state
The attempt to change the kleptocratic system, in which Aleksandar Vučić and Ivica Dacić grew up in their 90s on the corpses of the Yugoslav peoples and nationalities, after the Fifth of October, Zoran Đinđić paid with his head. He was killed by a state occupied by people with bloody hands up to the elbows.
The state, all state institutions, are now occupied by people steeped in public money and privileges. Tens of thousands of progressives and socialists in 12 years, thanks to party booklets, rose from the mud into Mercedes cars and luxury apartments. Will they calmly observe how someone endangers their stolen property?

Everyone according to faith and conscience
Željko Mitrović's friends will not be moved by the fact that the education system of the country is blocked. No matter how much they are annoyed by the steady and persistent student actions and all those strong, smart, young people who do not cut the President of the State, the Greatest Serb Ever, a worshiped progressive being, two percent, they can wait for months until, once again, the resistance to the regime fails. by myself.
They care about the education system.
Children, young people, started a small society, but now it's the turn of the adults. To all those employed in state institutions who are silent about all the lawlessness they see, to RTS journalists, to lawyers, for example, who, if only they wanted to, could block the corrupt judicial system of Serbia with a general strike. It wouldn't be their first time.
By the way, what about the rockers, where did they go? If the author of this text did not miss something, no one supported the students except Koja. Non-alignment in this situation means supporting the regime.
If the students are left alone in the gust of rebellion, nothing will change this year either. So let the adults act according to their own conscience and faith, if they want to step in the direction that the children started. Those adults, who know very well what it is and how it is in Serbia, who listen to how the children of this country are called "mercenaries" by progressive characters and likushers who work for the interests of the Ustasha and Kurti.
What my kids would say: "Brother, are you normal!?"
