At the competition special units in Dubai, three teams from Of Serbia. Out of a total of 109 teams, Gendarmerie is in 30th place, SAJ is in 32nd place, and Kobre is in 46th place. This solid result pales in comparison to the teams from Kazakhstan - gold and silver.
However, there is room for improvement. On the list Reporters Without Borders, out of 180 countries, Kazakhstan is in 141st place, and Serbia is in 96th place. This means that with increasing pressure on media - and thanks to President Vučić, they will be stronger, faster and better - local special forces will also become more successful.
A status symbol
And now seriously. The quality of special units is determined in action, by no means in popularization competitions. That is why the real question is who and what are Kobra, SAJ and protecting Gendarmerie?
If we are talking about institutions, they will soon be out of a job - as the progressives have set out, not a single stone will be left unturned from the constitutional and legal order. If it is about decisive defense of the regime, no matter how many special forces there are and no matter how much they are paid, it will always be few.
In this context, we should start from the success of teams from Serbia in the table. Lanterns are Cobras. These specials are a status symbol in SNS for the sake of family Vucic. They also watched former Prime Minister Vucevic after his resignation, which is a sign that he is still "someone and something". There are other progressives and their families who babysit, so when they come back dead tired from parties and clubs, they don't have the strength to train. A non-sporting life has its price...
Raw meat
Od Cobras is 14 positions better than SAJ. The reason is simple: as a fan of the Legion, the new commander Igor Žmirić did not have time to destroy the professionalism and training of the members of the unit acquired under his predecessor, Spasoj Vulevic.
But it is being done... Žimirić has great opportunities - there are many bars, controversial businessmen and similar clientele to whom the current SAJ commander can provide services. And since the old sajovs won't do that, they will be replaced by new ones. They will be there in a year or two, at least for one place below Kobra.
And finally – the Gendarmerie. There is no need to waste words - she trained on live flesh for months. Although they do not have a basic sense of justice, as soon as they pick up batons and shields, they attack female students, male students and neighbors, no one is equal to these gendarmes. That is why they are fit and in shape.
Average and cross-section of the state
The problem is not in the special units that every country has, but in their transformation into a party squadron of a violent and long-overdue regime.
Praised, pampered and pampered, the regime presented them as a combination of Superman and Batman. They turned out average. But why is their belly dance at a show competition in Dubai so important to Serbia and other authoritarian countries? This and that have to do with media and other freedoms.
