From the announcement of the Serbian Orthodox Church, a simple conclusion follows: the protesting students are antichrists, and Aleksandar Vučić is the embodiment of Svetosava values.
For the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Porfirije Aleksandar Vučić, rules Serbia in the spirit of Saint Sava values and Serbian identity marks, and the devil has entered these students who are rebelling, and they mock them, instead of praying in silence at the pre-holiday vigil in the Temple of Saint Sava.
This can be concluded from SPC press releases at the moment when, at the call of the students, because the government refuses to renounce its inaction, the Autocommand is blocked.
That's why Porfirje called them in a statement from the Serbian Orthodox Church to emulate their colleagues who "proudly carry icons and national flags and kiss them while being baptized" and avoid the tedious work of rebellion and blockades.
For the SPC, therefore, the sacred values include threats, theft, corruption, lies, deception, usurpation, violation of the Constitution, unshackles, suppression of freedoms, introduction of reality shows into all social pores, spread of paranoia and xenophobia, name-calling and taunting, beating of students, arrest of students ... Because Porfirije didn't say a word against everything that Vučić's government is doing to kill normal life in Serbia every day.
That's why the Serbian patriarch classified the students who are blocking the faculties because they are fighting for the rule of law, and because of a theatrical performance and because a few of them broke into the Svetosava Academy in Matica Srpska to say something, as antichrists.
Make no mistake: this announcement is a clear political message. And at this moment, it can be interpreted in only one way: once again in the recent history of Serbia, the top of the SPC has shown itself to be retrograde, on the wrong side of history, he stands with the leader who gives money to the Church and kisses popes in front of the cameras, while at the same time it destroys humanity, Christian values and laws in the country.
Anyone who condemns the regime's targeting of people from the media, the non-governmental sector, the opposition and universities, must not agree to this targeting of RTS editors and journalists either.
