For someone to take the lead BIA, must meet the following conditions.
Under one - whatever he achieved in politics, the director of BIA must owe Aleksandar Vučić; that debt with green interest is paid off for life by self-defeating obedience. Otherwise, Bata Gasic he would not move away from a small entrepreneur with a dubious reputation, Vulin from a caricature phenomenon in every respect, and Vladimir Orlic – with much luck – from a mid-level IT director.
Two - the head of the Service must not know anything about the issues and challenges of the country's security, that is, about the work he will be doing. It also has the advantage of not being able to pass the actual security check. Exclusivity, stubbornness and narrow-mindedness are understood. Also the absence of any professional affirmation. All of them are operationally listed under the rubric of rootless gourds.
Three - the director of the BIA must be arrogant, rude and socially unacceptable. Bata Gašić was appointed after two scandals - a helicopter crash and a sexist outburst. Vulin looked and acted like a security organ in a paramilitary formation that has no contact with the constitutional and legal order. And Orlić would be kicked out of every decent pub if he behaved like he did in the National Assembly or debate shows on RTS.
The four men at the head of the relevant government agency should not for a second doubt that his main task is monitoring, eavesdropping and secretly recording the opposition. The last example is the case of Peđa Voštinić during lunch in a restaurant with representatives of the OSCE and the British Embassy in Kraljevo. But he does not only deal with politicians and activists, but also with professional journalists, whistleblowers, police officers doing their job and everyone else who thinks for themselves. They are - aren't they - persons of security interest, in contrast to mobsters, money launderers, obscure arms dealers, controversial businessmen, corruptors and similar dignitaries in today's Serbia.
Five - the director of the BIA is also the creator of the editorial policy of tabloids and pink televisions. He has to show it from time to time, just so that the audience is not in doubt: Bata Gašić thus accused Germany of protecting the person suspected of the liquidation of Oliver Ivanović, there is no need to waste words on Vulin's scandals, while Orlić lied in the best tabloid manner. as he was not illegally employed at the Higher Medical School in Ćuprija.
There is no doubt that all three directors of the BIA fulfilled most of the assigned elements, the only difference between them is their artistic impression. Therefore, Vulin's protest at Stalin's grave has a higher, collective purpose. Better than anything, this shows the values represented by the BIA and its bosses in the age of progressives. Of course, improved in accordance with the times and hostohms.
