Either Vučić or the EU
The citizens of Serbia are faced with a choice: either Vučić or the European Union. Everything else is empty talk

The vote on Sunday brought the first, smaller and somewhat larger, cracks in the regime monolith. It would be wise for the opposition to grab onto those small victories, get rid of their own backrooms as soon as possible and continue working
Who would have thought that the day would come when the regime of the Serbian Progressive Party elections collapses like a house of cards, he misunderstood something. It will take some time until it is removed from the North Korean level of support in Grocka, Pećinci or Bosilegrad.
Opposition for years, she has been preparing the public for a marathon fight, although she herself often behaves as if it is a sprint and that the final victory is just around the corner.
So much was said about the need to demolish the progressive granite tower stone by stone, city by city and municipality by municipality.
And yet, it seems that everyone has overlooked that it is - finally! - started on Sunday. The atmosphere in the opposition bazaar resembles a funeral, although, realistically, there are no excessive reasons for that.
The first stones were knocked out of the progressive walls. These are some city municipalities in Belgrade. Without a doubt, the opposition also won Nis - it is no longer a pebble, but a rock - it is only a matter of post-election acrobatics whether this victory will be translated into law or remain "moral" and unusable.
Where can Vučić tighten things up more?
The bodies of the boycott tried in advance to make the victories in Round Two meaningless. Like, we are not fighting for Vračar or Old Town, but for Serbia! That sounds nice, but also arrogant - so far, the opposition has not even controlled Circle Two.
The "victory" of the boycott at the level of Belgrade must have cheered the progressives - they defended the government until Expo more easily than they thought. Then again, I'm sure Vučić had a hard time with that champagne on Sunday.
Because, when he effectively lost Belgrade in December - he could rule only by flying mathematics - he greased the basket and forced his political fathers and children into one list, along with all the late socialists. (One could write an essay on the facial expression of Ivica Dačić during that champagne drinking session.)
Every screw of the machinery was tightened to the breaking point. Votes were traded, dubious persons with even more dubious lists occupied public spaces, voting was done as a family and with "instructions", and all this after a month of insanely expensive campaign seasoned with the "fight for Serbia".
And then Vučić, with his connections in Belgrade, still took significantly fewer votes than in December. Such a drop in just six months, and that with numerous own goals by the opposition, is certainly not pleasant. Where should he tighten more, who should he whip more?
When the vanities fall silent
After the December elections, the opposition was able to stick to the winning story - there are more of us, we won and we will do it again. But she chose to use every second she has to complain about election conditions and vote stealing.
They are, of course, justified - but they didn't have any kind of response on the street or any significant echo in the so-called the international community. They turned out to be a story that leads to division and defeat.
Now it's a similar intersection. This little that was won - but these are the first victories ever in Vučić's era - can be interpreted as both winning and losing. It would be prudent to present it as a certain success, because objectively it is.
And let's not lie, it sounds better. The regime is vulnerable, even in these adverse conditions. A good number of voters are waiting for such a message.
The opposition bazaar is now followed by weeks of venomous backrooms and passive aggression. Everyone will have to give their vanity a little vent, and that's for people.
If they get their act together and start working further, they will have a solid chance of seeing the next elections in a better state than the last two elections. And to continue tinkering with the progressive monolith, which now, finally, has the first cracks.

None of us have the right to give up our freedom. It is unacceptable to lose heart. Leaving the last line of defense is unacceptable. Because the barbarian attack on prosecutors and judges is their last attack. Beyond that is the abyss

You should not touch Ćaciland before the holidays. Since there will be no New Year celebrations on the streets in Belgrade, it should be left as an attraction for foreign tourists

By taking "upon himself" responsibility for the General Staff affair and promising amnesty to Selaković and other potential suspects, Vučić wants to ensure that his collaborators do not become witnesses-collaborators. That is why he is ready to destroy the judicial branch of government
The euro jumps, people flock to exchange offices, banks refuse to say whether they do business with NIS, and the regime says - everything is panic. It is possible, but who is wider
