They entered the buses blackmailed, scared, paid, forced, poisoned regime propaganda and all those who those who do not know or must not say no. Some of these people were promised something, others still have to be patient, others repeat that they are just following orders. All of them form one family, that hidden part that is not asked.
It is theirs to stand, applaud and remain obedient as before. They know well when and what to say and even better - when to be silent. That's why the head of the family loves them so much. Thanks to him, they have water in plastic bottles, paper fans, juices, sandwiches, t-shirts...
Fear of the head of the family
A large part of this bus family is united by fear of the future. They are afraid of neighboring countries, especially Croatia and, more recently, Montenegro. They are afraid that tomorrow they will not have a job, salary and pension. They are also afraid that their children abroad will not stop sending them money. But, more than anything else, they are afraid of angering the head of the family.
He is the one who defends them from the "Ustasha", other Serbian enemies, especially foreign mercenaries; he employs them, gives them wages and pensions. He made it possible for sons and daughters from Germany and Dubai to receive euros and dollars and not even to speak the language of their grandchildren.
Because of all this, he will circle every "own" wish that the head of the family has expressed so many times on television as his own. This will be the case for greater competition between higher education institutions and an even stronger fight against crime and corruption - this is the case with the Nadstrešnica process and the case of Veslin Milić.
At the end, the family will return home from the bus. They won't really know why they had to drive them to Belgrade, but when the head of the family says so, he has to squeeze a plastic bag and take seat number 24 next to someone very similar to himself.
The family from the bus really is a part of Serbia. She is also a victim of an outdated regime. We should not condemn, but convince them that they too have the right to personal dignity and their own self. Nothing will get worse, it can only get better.
