He plays the double bass, but he may or may not be a musician and just take medicine to his aunt. Somehow, like Bora Todorović in "Balkan Express", the Serbian government is holding its own - there was no sonic attack in Ulica Kralja Milana, and if there was, we don't know anything about it. Sound cannons we don't have them, and if we did, we didn't use them.
The speed with which the authorities went from "it's nothing" to "pure mass panic" to "we will investigate, but it is certainly not a sound cannon".
The prosecutor's office seemed to get hold of the case, but only to amnesty the government, the police and the secret service.
The reason for this clumsy play is that, also at an astonishing speed, journalists, some non-governmental organizations and experts - with the invaluable help of citizens and social networks - are discovering new and new details, putting the dice together.
Neither theory is mature yet, although an infantile little war between proponents of this or that theory has developed on Twitter. But hey, people these days become experts on corona, the war in Ukraine and even sonic weapons and vortex cannons in no time.
But, as the state's scramble has begun, at this rate it may be revealed that they have Tesla's secret intergalactic weapon within a week.
Admit how much you have to.
It started with cynicism. The informer sang and mocked the story about the sonic cannon while singing and plucking. The Minister of Health claimed that the patients report on someone's order. But then they realized that the devil had played a joke.
That the police have sound cannons - or LRAD, if someone is bothered by the colloquial term - Minister Dacic admitted only after "Vreme" published it. But he said they were in the warehouse, unpacked.
When the people noticed the LRAD on the gendarmerie jeep near the Parliament on the videos, and one gendarme spoke to the newspaper "Danas", only then did Dacic admit that the LRAD was in action, but apparently only as a megaphone and was not used that way.
Before that admission, BIA head Vladimir Orlić claimed that "no one" noticed any LRAD at the protest, anywhere. When it however.
The president vows to leave office if it is proven that any sonic or aerial weapons were used. His statements like that aren't worth a penny anyway and shouldn't be dealt with much.
The investigation is a hoax.
The Prosecution filed the case and in the first statement said that there is no sound cannon, referring to the police and services - those who have been caught in lies more than once.
Hell, the prosecution even announced that the state institutions not only did not use, but did not even "see" the sound weapons - which were mounted on their jeeps.
If the prosecution was doing its job, if that was even possible in this Serbia, they would already shake the whole police and BIA out of their pants.
Or, at least, they would read "Time". In a few days, with the help of hundreds of eyewitnesses who contacted us and hundreds of analyzed recordings, we found out important things.
Let's say, where was the epicenter of the "huka", how did people hear and experience it, what symptoms did they complain about. Or that a group of thugs simultaneously roared and fired cannon shots into the crowd from the construction site in Kralja Milana. Or that there have been three white vans without license plates standing in front of the Presidency since March 15.
Or, now from a scientific point of view, why physics and mass behavior have so far not seen the stampede sideways if it is "just" panic. We talked to a number of experts.
And we still have a lot of knowledge, theories and witnesses. We are preparing a large file that will be supplemented. We don't declare clues for evidence, we check, we don't run anywhere.
The prosecution seems to be in no hurry. It is not known whether they are investigating anything that is published by the media. Did they listen to anyone? They certainly didn't ask us anything.
