In Serbia, it is too early for anything until it is too late. This is especially true for election conditions. Here, the students are demanding a national plenum at the polling stations, even though they did not ask the political bazaar. In particular, are they allowed to hold elections before Vučić is willing to give them fair and honest conditions. If it doesn't happen like that - sorišić, we have no idea how to win them, be patient and calm.
Fortunately, the students didn't ask anyone anything. Because if they were, there would never have been protests, blockades and everything else that created a powerful and only relevant alternative to the current regime from those girls and boys.
A storm of insults and anger
Let there be no misunderstanding - the election conditions are shameful. But what is a counter-proposal in relation to the student's request? Pickling in a barrel full of a solution of resentment and anger? Darkening and killing everyone who thinks that change is possible? Maybe crossing your fingers that a moment of wicked ecstasy will come after all - "we told you you were going to fail, heh, heh, squish, squish"?
Because no one is fooling anyone - before every possible or already announced election, he inevitably flashes and complains about the conditions under which they are held. Sometimes they are acceptable, and sometimes they are not. Both cases depend on the conjuncture in opposition maneuvering, blackmail and, especially, extortion.
Nothing is there without a reason. It is easier to deal with oneself and live on social networks, than to conduct real politics and gain the trust of the people. And secondly - election conditions are a sure trigger for an endless series of defeats and lack of vision. Because if it existed, I guess during the thirteen years of stamping elections, the opposition would have found a way to fight for a fair determination of the will of the citizens.
The results are counted.
For the second time - luckily, students don't ask anyone anything. Basically, they have been doing everything right since the beginning of the protest.
Under one - demands for the reaffirmation of institutions and legal positions, they articulate the will and aspirations of the people. Second, they tour the country on the flat, uphill and downhill, persistently developing solidarity, honesty and inclusiveness. Three - like no one before them, they successfully expose the regime in all its anti-people and anti-state nakedness. Four - with the biggest protests in the biggest cities, they demonstrate that their movement has gained an unprecedented mass. In the end, under five - they achieve all this non-violently, knocking down like a house of cards the accusations of "color revolution" and similar lies.
Too long, too little, too bad
In short, the people have every right to trust and rely on students. They earned it with great personal sacrifice. And now, after this kind of performance, they should ask permission from certain self-appointed arbiters in political and public life, whether they can demand elections and put forward their own list. Why not...
The matter is therefore clear. Everyone is invited to help students with advice or in any other way they request. If the various opponents of Vučić's regime are unable to do so, they could at least not retaliate. They have been working in the same way and with the same disastrous results for too long to expect anyone to ask them anything, especially students.
