"Anti-Serb" and "blockader": Pump Nole!
With a gesture of pumping at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic drew curses and insults from the regime of Aleksandar Vučić. He was put in the same basket with "blockade-terrorists" and "anti-Serbs"
Can the students and the opposition make up for 51 votes in the repeated elections at polling station number 25 in Kosjerić? Is it an impossible mission or another attempt that changes everything
The court in Užice ruled: elections are repeated at one polling station in To Kosjerić. Previously, the students and the opposition won 220 votes, and the Serbian Progressive Party won 125. The elections of June 8 are still not over. Vucic blew the whistle and claimed it was over.
It is not only played for the local government. What is at stake is the continuation of the balance of power between the regime and the rebel society. The former hold all the resources in Serbia and no illegal means are ever against them. Others rely on themselves, popular revolt and thirst for change caused by injustice, corruption and freakish government.
Job for Ethan Hunt
Comments have already been made that an "impossible mission" awaits students and the opposition in Kosjerić. Specifically: in order to make up for the 51 votes, at least the same number of opposition voters must turn out at this polling station again - and certainly more than on June 8 - but also for regime voters to lose by 40 percent.
Could even Ethan Hunt pull it off?
You don't need to be a connoisseur of political life in Serbia to know what's coming next. As in the pre-election campaign, voters from polling station number 25 in Kosjerić will be overwhelmed by progressive leaders and nobles; they have to share ovens and irons, buy and pay handsomely for every vote; hooded men are intimidating and blackmailing even those who have never been before.
On the other hand, students and the opposition can be confident that on June 8 they showed that the regime is not untouchable and that it is on a downward trajectory. So - continue the campaign as before the election, additionally convince neighbors and friends that selling votes is the same as selling faces.
That's what Rocky Balboa said.
Can I succeed?
The answer depends on the degree of shaking of both electorates in Kosjerić. What is not going well for the students and the opposition is that, despite the huge turnout, the progressives narrowly managed to retain power without losing anything. This caused resignation and a feeling of powerlessness, at least among some citizens.
But progressive voters are no longer the same as on June 8. Overwhelmingly defeated at polling station number 25, they watched how hoodlums and thugs turned Kosjerić into a thug, and it dawned on them that a government that uses such methods has no future. Its strength is false because it does not rest on the local environment, but on abuses and usurpations from the headquarters in Belgrade.
On paper, SNS has every chance in the repeated elections at polling station 25. However, life is something completely different. The great thinker Rocky Balboa summed it up eloquently: "When you think you can't, one more try will be the one that makes a difference."

And how will firefighters, police and doctors take care of unsafe tunnels? Well, by keeping an eye on the hill and being ready if the hill falls on the bus, for example
Would you sit down with Aleksandar Vučić at the bar table after he pardoned the progressive men who heroically broke the jaw of a female student with a bat? Apart from the loss of basic moral inhibitions, what else is behind this act
One can be horrified by the beating and arrest of students, but one must not be surprised - Aleksandar Vučić announced all this. But they will see that the baton is a weak protection against the people
The generation leading this rebellion accepts differences as part of its horizon of normality, something natural and taken for granted. Hence, their patriotism is pure, nothing like the toxic nationalism of the nineties
