Just like back on Vidovdan in 1389, when Emperor Lazar set his sights on the immense Ottoman force in Kosovo Field, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, will cross spears with the powers of today's world in order to save the future on May 23 in New York, in the United Nations General Assembly. Serbia, that is, he prevented the genocide of the Serbian race, that is, adoption resolution on Srebrenica.
At least it's a message prayer in the Church of Saint Sava, during which Patriarch Porfirije prayed to God to give the president "strength and wisdom" to persevere in his all-Serbian, righteous struggle.
The president knows that he will lose this earthly battle in New York, on the field of the United Nations, but he is going there to die for Serbia and gather all freedom-loving countries around the Serbian flag for the sake of heavenly justice, because it is an earthly injustice to burden the Serbs with the fact that they are a genocidal nation. , instead of declaring the Croats, who slaughtered so many Serbs, to be genocidaires. Mile Dodik was there to spill water for Aleksandar.
Election campaign
Well, why all this circus because of the resolution that calls on the member states of the United Nations to mark July 11 as the International Day of Remembrance of the Genocide in Srebrenica and condemn any denial that the genocide was committed, as well as actions that glorify those convicted of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide in Srebrenica?
Especially since the preamble of the final text of the proposed resolution states unequivocally that "criminal responsibility under international law is individualized and cannot be attributed to any ethnic or religious or other group or community as a whole."
The answer to this question is hidden in the pre-resolution activities of Vučić. Along the way, the president of all Serbs rushed to Novi Sad to give him the slogan "Aco Serbs" and "Kosovo is the heart of Serbia" in the pre-election campaign for the local elections that will be held on June 2. , because here too the progressive government is shaking because the opposition has remained more or less united.
Serbianness instead of sewage
The mindless whining that Germany conspired with world powers to declare Serbs a genocidal nation and battle cries that Aleksandar Vučić will heroically resist it diverts attention from all the wrongdoings carried out by progressive local kabadahias for years.
Local elections, elections for water supply, sewerage, city traffic or urban solutions, rise to the level of fighting for Serbia.
The goal is to trick voters into giving their vote to Vučić in Čačak or Belgrade, because faceless anonymous people, or hated progressive leaders who carry lists, would not have much chance.
So far, such charades have been successful. Paranoia and xenophobia have been raised to the level of the nineties. And what kind of damage does it cause to society and Serbia's position in the democratic world to whom it formally aspires, who cares.
