It's nice that Aleksandar Vučić, at least partially, listened to "Vreme" and transformed the criminal den called Ćaciland into Christmas market. It was announced by the President of the Republic on Sunday at a twenty-minute speech, after the nine-month protest in Belgrade, the removal of tents from Bulevar Kralja Aleksandar and Pionirski Park.
The danger to the state of Serbia has passed, the blockaders have been defeated, the colored revolution has been thwarted, Vučić told his supporters, who had been drawn to him this time to click on the platform in front of the National Assembly. And that victory was won by heroes from Ćaciland, true patriots, Serbs over Serbs, role models for Serbian youth and future generations, in general, for all freedom-loving people.
Since those who want to kill and torture for a handful of foreign money have been defeated, explained Vučić, Ćaciland has fulfilled its glorious purpose, so the streets will be passable again, and the park in front of the Presidency will be open to children and dogs.
"Aco Serbs!", "Long live Serbia!" and just like that, the president's performance was quickly over, he was in a hurry to get to "Hit Tweet" on Pink TV to address the nation for the 402nd time this year. In the cold weather, the atmosphere had not really warmed up, the show called "Goodbye to Ćacilendu" seemed anemic, like a forced move, rather than a celebration.
What started as a lie, turned out to be a lie.
Why was Ćaciland dissolved
Why did Vučić really give up on the paramilitary fortress under his guard, where municipal officials were on duty, and which was managed by criminals with long police records under his personal command?
First, even in progressive Serbia, after all the mischief of the residents of Ćaciland, it became impossible to continue to defend what is so insane, that it is simply indefensible.
It is far from the fact that the danger to Vučić's regime has passed, in fact, but it will be the case that public opinion surveys have started to show the growing dissatisfaction of voters before the election year, which, as the president of Serbia and the whole of Ćaciland has repeated several times, is knocking on the door.
Second, Ćaciland and the gentlemen who were recruited there began to provoke increasingly harsh warnings from Brussels and authoritative Western capitals that it cannot be done that way. Aman, under the protection of the police, you keep armed criminals in the occupied center of the capital to enforce your reign of terror, and you say something about Serbia's European commitment.
Thirdly, it has become a matter of time when one of the nervous chauvinists will crack someone's head to death, and that may be a red line that even numerous policemen would not be willing to cross. The patriots, accustomed to thrashing, broke free from the chain on several occasions.
Fourth, it got really cold. Illegal hooking up to electricity for the sake of heaters is pointless, you can't warm up in the tent when the minus hits. What should be the daily wages if you hate yourself there in the name of Vučić and tribute!?
Based on the paranoid fear of Ace Serbs of mass protests, Ćaciland exposed the nature of the progressive regime to the end and caused permanent internal and external damage to the Serbian Progressive Party.
Because not even the Christmas fair can cover up the traces of thugs, depravity and living.
