On March 6, one year ago, the first tents were erected in Pioneer Park. At that time, before the onset of the student rebellion, the regime still felt the need to justify the party's occupation of the space in the center of Belgrade with an invented protest. "students who want to learn". That was abandoned a long time ago, Chaciland has been laid bare for what it has always been: a paramilitary base of the Serbian Progressive Party reserved for criminals under its command Aleksandar Vučić with a license to thresh.
The accelerated evolution of the Serbian autocracy can be observed in the development of Ćaciland. For years, the progressive government strove to create the appearance of a rule of law through the projection of controlled media. Over time, the elements of corruption and open repression swelled so much that it was abandoned. A step towards dictatorship was made: Batanica detachments enjoy full protection of the government, lawlessness has encompassed all layers of the state. If any of the regime's dukes or mercenaries fall under the cogs of the parts of the judiciary that are still struggling, the President of the Republic is there to pardon them.

Boiled frogs
You don't have to go far, you can see it all in Pionirski Park. To everyone who shouts "it's over", Ćacilend shows that he is the head of the Serbian Progressive Church and that he is still there, that he has not given up trying to completely subjugate the state.
In the middle of the rebellious society, between the Presidency, the Assembly of Serbia and the Assembly of the City of Belgrade, there is still an area to which citizens have no access, surrounded by a double, tied, partially rusted metal fence. Swings for children, benches, lawns and paths through the city greenery are empty. Whoever would take a shorter route through the park, must go around.

There are ten fair tents in the park, there are also mobile toilets. According to him, two or three undefined characters perform. There is always a police car parked there, the occupied space is guarded by several policemen. A series of cameras are placed on flags along Knez Miloš. The light on them is off. When there is an assessment that some civil protest could approach Aleksandar Vučić's workplace, Ćaciland is filled with all kinds of violence, and the number of policemen with orders to come to their aid increases.
Belgraders got used to that abnormal situation like boiled frogs. No "win" is what they are The tents of Ćacilenda are removed. from Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra, where they stood for months and created unbearable traffic jams, when the illegal loyalist camp still exists fifty meters away.

Where are the opposition councilors from Belgrade?
The occupation of Pioneer Park cannot be justified in any way. Representatives of Vučić's government have long since stopped trying to do so, and opposition political organizations and the student movement in rebellion no longer even raise the issue.
The branches of Ćaciland on the Boulevard were broken into by MPs from Ponoš's Serbia Center, joined by MPs from other opposition parties. They clashed every day with policemen who tried to block their passage, they removed metal fences. Individual citizens also followed them, and gradually began to use the public space in front of the National Assembly. It didn't take long until Vučić gave up blocking part of the street.

Nice weather is coming. What prevents the Belgrade councilors from taking a newspaper and heading to a bench in Pionirski Park. Just like all other citizens of this country, they have a full legal right to it. They were elected to make Belgrade a better place to live.
Councilors do not have to go far to change something in the city for the better, let's say they make sure that the former palace garden with rare trees, the "Girl with a Jug" monument and the fountain are again accessible to the citizens of Belgrade. Children, pensioners, dog owners, everyone.
Happy Ćaciland, to all who are celebrating.
