Students called for general strike, "Time" is joined. During the duration, we will report on all topics of public interest. Otherwise, we would betray the postulates on which we rest - independent and accurate information in the service of citizens - and leave the media field to producers of fake news, hate speech and obscure propaganda.
That's why we continue where we left off.
Skeletons in the closet
Vučić has been claiming for a long time that he has fulfilled all student demands. He can't even convince himself of that, let alone the girls and boys in the blockades and, it's safe to say, most of the public.
Even if he wanted to, the president of Serbia with all his competent staff is unable to meet the students. Quite simply, this would open the closet with skeletons that he has been systematically filling for thirteen years. Anything can come out of it, not only the corruption that left behind fifteen victims in Novi Sad.
In particular, numerous other crimes and thefts will follow, which no one will be able to ignore and cover up. They are the core of the progressive party, an interest group without any ideology or consideration. A real showdown with her would also be the end of the regime. It is enough to look at a thousand of Vučić's achievements on DJ Žeksa's television and wonder who and how much has been involved.
As long as the pot holds water
The progressives abolished the dialogue a long time ago, mounted the majority of the media, shackled the institutions and turned the entire country into their private property. This pressure cooker without an exhaust valve, if it didn't burst, at least it did: the students are not giving up, and protests are multiplying throughout Serbia. There are also places where they have never been recorded before.
In this sense, today's general strike does not correspond to the true meaning of this term. It is exclusively another, new form of expressing citizens' dissatisfaction and a way of spreading protests. After him, others will follow.
Unprecedented stupidity in any history
No matter how much they pretend that "it's nothing to them", it is clear that Vučić and his team have not been able to find an answer to the current protests for months. They tried ignoring, bribing, threats, violence... Nothing worked for them, and it will be the same when it comes to this general strike. Regardless of the shape and number, maintenance itself is not a small matter.
However, by ditching the red middle finger as its symbol, the regime succeeded in at least three things. The first shows what kind of "decent, serious and responsible people" they are. The second tells what they think about the citizens of this country. The third represents one of the biggest scandals and simpletons in the history of Serbia - direct mockery of the victims from Novi Sad.
For all this and much more, let's be on strike for at least one day!
