First plaintiff for war crimes Vladimr Vukčević Deceased is now 75 years old.
This was confirmed for Danas by his friend and associate Bruno Vekarić.
Vukčević was born in 1950 in Belgrade, where he completed elementary school and high school. He grew up in Dedinja.

He was elected deputy public prosecutor in the First Municipal Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade in April 1978.
He became the Deputy District Public Prosecutor in Belgrade in 1994, and in 2002 he was appointed Deputy Public Prosecutor and Head of the Criminal Department in the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic.
In July 2003, the Serbian Parliament elected him as the Prosecutor for war crimes. In November 2009, he was re-elected to that position. He remained in that position until the end of 2015, Istinomer writes.
