Italian shoe designer and entrepreneur Cesare Paćoti died at the age of 68.
Together with his sister Paola, Paciotti wrote an important chapter in history footwear, writes the Fashion Network website.
Cesare Pacotti's father, Giuseppe Pacotti, founded the shoe company in 1948.
The first brand that the company launched on the market was called Paris, and offered a collection of classic style men's footwear. The shoes were completely handcrafted and included the most sophisticated techniques.
From the late 1970s, the business passed into the hands of Giuseppe's children, Paola and Cesare. The two immediately recognized the potential of a new cultural phenomenon that was quickly becoming huge business.
Acting on this intuition, Cesare and Paola Paciotti began designing and producing footwear for now legendary names such as Gianni Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli.
Building on those early successes, the family-owned brand changed its brand name from Paris to Cesare Paciotti in 1980 and revamped its aesthetic, innovating men's footwear with a bold, highly recognizable style.
In 1990, the brand launched a pioneering project for its time: its first unisex footwear models.
Soon she joined the men's line woman collection. The range has achieved instant success thanks to its design aimed at seductive individuals who never want to go unnoticed.
The strength of a well-defined, recognizable identity, combined with the uniqueness and exceptional quality of the product, has enabled the brand to expand globally.
Cesare Paciotti later established himself as a leading player in fashion capitals around the world, including Milan, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and Dubai.
Cesare Pacotti will be remembered for his seductive style and extraordinary human generosity.
