According to the new price list of Elektroprivreda Srbije, the "cheaper" kilowatt-hour in the green zone, which until now was 2,2773 dinars in the two-tariff measurement, will rise to -2,4034 dinars, excluding VAT, which is an increase of 5,5 percent. The "expensive" electricity in this area of consumption up to 350 kWh will increase in price from the current 9,1092 dinars to 9,6136 dinars, without tax.
How to get a discount?
Electric power industry of Serbia (EPS) provides a seven percent discount from October for households that replace their paper electricity bill with an electronic one and pay it by the 20th of the month, the company announced.
The first step is for customers to select electronic bill delivery. They can do this on the "EPS Account Insight" portal and application, at the counters in EPS branches or by filling out the request on the eps.rs website.
The next step is for citizens to settle the bill by the 20th of the month and receive a discount of seven percent, announced EPS, at whose request the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia approved an increase in the price of electricity from October by 6,6 percent on average for households and small customers.
According to the EPS, a six percent discount is available from the bill for October for households that read the balance on the meter themselves, send the data to Elektrodistribucija Srbije and pay the bill by the 20th of the month.
Also, the old discount of five percent is still possible for those who settle the bill by the 28th of the month.
The household can obtain only one discount, and the citizens themselves decide which of the offered options they will use, EPS reminded in the announcement.
