The family investment holding of entrepreneur and investor Andrej Jovanović, AJFH, as the leading investor, together with Bojan Radun, one of the most prominent managers in the region and the current general director of Imlek, signed an agreement on a joint purchase Imlek from the previous owner - MidEuropa fund, Imlek announced.
The company Chinese New Year, with headquarters in Padinska Skela in Belgrade, also owns two dairies in North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with state-of-the-art production facilities and buys milk from more than 3.500 farmers, processing almost 400 million liters of raw milk annually, according to the announcement.
"Two leading Serbian entrepreneurs, both deeply connected to Imlek and the food industry sector in the region, are joining forces to lead this company into the next phase of growth and development," it said.
Andrej Jovanović, it is added, brings rich experience in the field of consumer goods. He is the co-founder and former owner of the company "Marbo Product", the leading manufacturer of snacks in Serbia, which was later taken over by PepsiCo, and as the CEO and co-owner of the My Brands group (which included Bambi, Knjaz Miloš and Imlek).
Bojan Radun, who has been the head of the Imlek company since 2018, has more than two decades of experience in the consumer goods industry, including the positions of general director of the companies Bambi - the leading producer of confectionery products in the region - and Nectar, one of the most important juice producers, where he is also a significant shareholder.
Radun is also the chairman of the supervisory board of Hortex, a prominent producer of frozen food and juices in Poland. During his career he played a key role in the transformation and expansion of some of the most recognizable regional brands.
Jovanović and Radun agree that Imlek has enormous potential for further growth as a leading regional producer of dairy products - through continuous investment, operational excellence and innovation.

The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, subject to standard regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
