The building at Kralja Milana 5, which will house the new headquarters EXPO 2027 companies, will receive a board with the company's logo. The panel will be made by the company "Moon Design", and the value of this purchase is 3.346.000 dinars. That is around 28.600 euros, writes Dunja Marić in the text for the New Economy.
Company EXPO 2027, as the customer, estimated the value of the production of signs for the building at 3,5 million dinars, thus only slightly more than the price at which the contract was concluded.
More details about what the board will look like, whether there will be more of them and why the price is so high, are not known. We haven't received any answers from EXPO either.
It is a special type of public procurement procedure. Namely, this procedure is carried out in accordance with the Law on Special Procedures for the Implementation of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2027, which represents the lex specialis, which exempts EXPO from the obligations applicable to ordinary public procurement.
Accordingly, bids were sent to the addresses of three companies.
In addition to the company "Moon design", which won the job, offers were also sent to the company "Epic Software Solutions" and "Company for graphic activity, internal and external trade and services Grafik centar".
However, only "Moon Design" submitted an offer.
This company was founded on November 28, 2024, and offers were sent on December 26.
Milan Đurov and Kristina Bogdanović, who is also the director, have a 50 percent share in the company.
The company does not have an official website, or at least it cannot be found under that name. Also, the company has not yet received any work from a state-owned company, which is expected, considering that it was founded less than two months ago.
New headquarters of Expo
The sign will be located on the building at Kralja Milana 5, which will house the new headquarters of this company. The entire building at that address will belong to Expo, and works on the reconstruction of the building were approved in March last year.
As previously announced by Forbes, the works include the replacement of facade carpentry (which includes the replacement of glass surfaces), replacement of thermal insulation of the roof terrace, replacement of the complete heating, ventilation and cooling system, electrical installations.
The works officially started on May 17, 2024, and the deadline for their completion is May 7, 2025.
The works report states that it is about the reconstruction of the "future administrative building of the company Expo 2027 Belgrade", and their value is around 7,3 million euros without VAT.
As can be seen in the Real Estate Cadastre, the owner of the plot and building is the state, and the right of use still belongs to Slavija banka in bankruptcy.
The current address of the Expo is Bulevar vojvoda Bojovića 6. It is the building "MPP Kalemegdan Business Center", owned by the company "Marera Coworking", a daughter of the company "Marera Properties", which is held by Vladimir Zubrilin, a citizen of Malta.
