He thanked the Serbian and Chinese workers engaged on the construction site and told them that on this project they are creating not only the history of Serbia and their companies, but also their own history.
He stated that he had a meeting with Li Ming two days ago and thanked the Chinese embassy and Chinese companies for bringing in new workers.
"First 400, then 1,000 new workers, because now the types of jobs are arriving that must be accelerated," said the president.
He pointed out that there is huge progress in construction compared to his previous visit and announced that the railway from the Expo exhibition area to the airport and from the airport to the city center will be ready by the New Year, as well as the Novi Belgrade railway station.
"The railway will be completed, completely, both from Expo to the airport and from the airport to the city center, by the New Year, so it will be done on time," said Vučić.

Elections in October or November
He pointed out that the Novi Belgrade railway station will be magnificent and that it should also be completed by the end of the year.
He added that the heating plants and the electrical distribution system have already been completed.
"We have to connect all this directly to Sava, and we have to work on that as well," the president said.
He added that there are also upcoming landscaping works that cannot be done during the winter months.
Vučić announced that the elections will be held in October or November and that he believes that responsible politics will continue in Serbia.
When asked by a Chinese journalist, whether he thinks the elections will affect the bilateral cooperation between Serbia and China and the joint projects of the two countries, Vučić said that he believes in the iron friendship of the two countries and that the elections will be held in October or November.
"I believe that lately, thanks to President Xi, we have established a strong friendship between China and Serbia in the true sense of the word, and that no one can destroy it. On the other hand, we will have elections either in October or November, and I believe that we will have a continuation of responsible politics. That's all I can say," said Vučić during a tour of the works with the Chinese ambassador Li Ming.
