"At an event organized by the podcast editorial team and sponsored by the project."
'The media. Innovations', which were financed by USAID and SIDA (Swedish International Development Agency), the goals and results of the podcast were presented in the presence of guests who participated in the shows, representatives of companies, embassies, donors, sponsors and the media," the announcement reads.
The podcast is edited and hosted by prof. Dr. Slađana Benković, university professor with many years of financial expertise.
"Financial literacy is important for understanding everyday aspects of life, such as creating a household budget, using cards, saving, the tax system, cashless payments, and the like. Basic knowledge of finance is at a low level in Serbia and should become part of the educational process from an early age. The "Language of Finance" podcast is a platform through which this kind of knowledge is easily accessible to everyone, and it is important to work on this type of education, Benković said.
