GSP Belgrade published an advertisement for the purchase of new solo and articulated buses through financial leasing. The total value of the procurement is 7,8 billion dinars, and bidders have until November 24 to submit their bids.
Belgrade City Transport Company announced a public procurement Buses for public transportation worth 7,8 billion dinars, or about 66,6 million euros, was announced on the public procurement portal.
The public procurement announcement was published on Tuesday, November 4. The deadline for submitting bids is November 24, it says New economy.
Public procurement is divided into two parts, i.e. lots. This means that bidders can choose whether to bid for one or both lots.
The first batch refers to the purchase of a solo bus, and the value of the batch is 3,7 billion dinars.
The second batch refers to the purchase of articulated buses, and it is worth 4,1 billion. In both cases, it is a purchase through financial leasing.
All buses must be of the same brand and type, mass-produced and "brand new", meaning unused buses produced in 2025/26, according to the technical documentation.
The longest deadline for the delivery of buses is 290 days from the date of entry into force of the Public Procurement Agreement.
If there are no appeals in the public procurement process or other delays in the process, and the contract is signed soon after the deadline for submitting bids, it means that the new buses could be on the streets before the end of 2026.
