During the visit, the Ambassador of Finland Niklas Lindqvist visited the offices Inspira groups and Inspira Hub, and discussed the development of the digital economy, innovation, international cooperation and the importance of connecting companies, institutions and the community.
The Inspira Group, founded in Subotica more than 25 years ago, operates today as a family of digital businesses with more than 300 employees and platforms in the fields of employment, cars, real estate and insurance. Since 2012, part of the ownership structure of the company (25 percent) has been the Finnish media group Alma Media.
Ambassador Lindqvist pointed out that there is significant space for further connecting Finland and Serbia and that companies with Finnish ownership in Serbia are the best bridge to deepening cooperation between the two countries.
"Finnish society developed through digitization, sustainability and an approach in which citizens and the community are at the center of development. One of the key things of the Finnish model is the connection of companies, institutions, the academic community and citizens in creating new solutions. It is precisely this kind of cooperation that creates more resilient and innovative societies," said the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Serbia Niklas Lindqvist.

Branimir Gajić, co-owner and director of Inspira Group, said that the ambassador's visit is an important confirmation of long-term cooperation with Finnish partners, but also an opportunity to show how the company created in Subotica has the potential to develop digital products relevant to the region.
"It is particularly important for us that we share a similar view of business development with our Finnish partners — long-term thinking, trust, decentralization, investment in people and openness to innovation, as well as the importance of the rule of law and institutions for the stability of the business environment. We believe that it is the connection of local knowledge and international experience that enables companies to grow sustainably and remain relevant in a time of great technological changes," said Gajić.
During his stay in Subotica, Ambassador Lindqvist visited a part of the city center of Subotica and Palić, where they discussed the potential of the local community and the development of the business ecosystem in the north of Serbia.
