In some parts of the country, the orange weather alert is still in effect.
A state of emergency is in effect in 11 municipalities, and a meeting of the Republic's Emergency Staff has been announced for 12 noon.
What kind of weather awaits us?
After a very cold morning, the temperature is expected to exceed zero in some parts.
In the evening, gradual clouds are expected from the north and west, which will cause light snow or light rain during the night and early morning in the north, but also in some places in the west, which, as a rare phenomenon, would freeze on the ground.
A weak and moderate wind will blow, occasionally strong in the east, west and north-west, in the afternoon and evening turning to a weak south-east.
The lowest temperature will be from minus 13 in the north to minus four in the east of Serbia, in some basins around minus 15, and the highest from minus four to three degrees.
Emergency in 11 municipalities
A state of emergency is in force in 11 municipalities - in Valjevo, Loznica, Osečina, Krupanj, Mali Zvornik, Vladimirci, Sjenica, Majdanpek, part of Prijepolje, Lučani and Ivanjica.
About 9.000 households are without electricity, so the work to stabilize the electricity supply continues.
Firefighters-rescuers intervened 98 times on Sunday (January 11) to eliminate the consequences of weather disasters, and 37 people were evacuated.
